Human Beings

Human Beings is a play about cruelty and inhumanity investigating what it is to be human.
*Performed at Plymouth State University*

To prepare for the show actors were expected to feel discomfort in their normal life, they also did disturbing research on topics such as prisoners of war experiments, factory farms and eugenics. Coming back to rehearsal the actors had to share a single word to connect the research to Human Beings - words such as fear, control and inhumanity were spoken.

Human Beings is a timeless play, it can be placed within any society and those people can interpret the play endlessly and could connect it to their history and lifestyle.
